Social Media Lead

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

What does the role entail?

We are searching for a Social Media Lead that will take ownership of all social media services for both bolt & bolt’s clients. Due to the current lockdown restrictions, this role will be working from home, with a view to then working at our office in Wakefield, Yorkshire. For this reason, we need a self-starter who essentially comes from a B2B agency background. You will have experience of working with clients in technology, professional services or gaming across a variety of channels, including both organic & paid social. You will be part of a growing international team, which may also require you to travel from time to time.

Ideally, you'll have;

  • At 4+ years’ experience in Social Media/Content/Digital, preferably in an agency setting or within applicable industry
  • Knowledge of all social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, Linked In, Facebook
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong content creation skills – visual and written social media content, blog posts, etc.
  • Experience in running an effective team
  • Experience in paid social campaign management
  • Ability to build strong client and team relationships
  • Appreciation for the value of CRM in sales and marketing
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
  • Experience using Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator (not required but a bonus)

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Head of Commercial & Strategy whilst working alongside the Digital & Creative Leads
  • Develop social and content strategies for clients
  • Develop regular ‘smaller campaign’ plans
  • Lead the development of engaging social media content, both written and visual
  • Constantly proposing new ideas and concepts for social media content
  • Constantly implementing new techniques to drive engagement and meet our clients’ objectives on social media
  • Driving and overseeing the execution of campaigns from conception to launch following deadlines and project plans
  • Driving the creation of insightful social media reports
  • Maintaining and updating knowledge on the general social media landscape and in the context of specific clients
  • Lead planning and execution on bolt’s social media marketing and channels
